Thought's & Prayers

Is this ribbon almost tasty looking??? Ok well maybe that's streching a bit but I think it's so stinkin pretty! I would be proud to give this card to anyone! You can see the big jumbo grommet(they were just on special a bit ago) above and it works slick to attach it only to half of my tree piece and then i tied on my ribbon to that. I really like how it turned out... Also, if you don't have the big shot, background stamps are a great way to go as well. I used the retired paisley background stamp and i really like how it turned out~

ps. my inspiration came from here

supplies:
paper: close to cocoa, old olive, whisper white
ink: close to cocoa, old olive
stamps: thoughts & prayers, teeny tiny wishes, paisley background
tools:modern label punch
accessories: jumbo grommets, old olive stripped ribbon, brads

Delightful Decorations

Want a simple idea for your Christmas card? Here you go, w/o having to do ANY cropping! This card is 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" (bottom old olive, so exactly 1/2 a sheet). The picture is a regular 4x6 matted on whisper white. Then all i did was punch out 2 ornaments from my stamp set Delightful Decorations(in the Christmas Mini right now!) and add a bit of bling(dazzling diamonds). I found the envelopes @ Walmart ... they are greeting card envelopes for approx $5.50 for 50 of them? I also have them on hand if you like for $.08 each and you don't want to buy 50 ...

supplies:
paper: basic black, old olive, whisper white
ink: old olive
stamps: delightful decorations
tools: ornament punch
accessories: stampin dimensionals, 2 way glue pen, dazzling diamonds, 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon in old olive, brad

Build a Bear Thank you...

So after the girl's celebrated their birthday's together, i wanted to put together some cards as thank yous that they could 'sign' and give to the givers... this is one that i came up w/. Cute lil girl bear complete w/ her accessory bag and hair bow! tip: on this particular one i just snipped a bit of her hand so the bag could be 'held' better! Oh, and for QUICK put together on the face, punch out a circle and paste behind the head of the bear so you don't have to mess w/ the TINY little pieces!

supplies:
paper: pretty in pink, close to cocoa, pawsitively prints dsp, choc chip
ink: choc chip
stamps: Beary Nice Wishes
tools: Big Shot, Bigz Bear, sizzlits beary girl

Gift Card holder for Christmas ...

This is what it looks like finished
here we have our 8 1/2 X 4" sheet . Score 3 1/2 " from each side and then 1 1/2" inbetween those two lines(so you end up w/ 3 score lines total. Fold it accordion style. Then i took my library card, traced just the tip of it and cut out w/ a scissors. Then punch a 1/2" circle w/ your 1/2" circle punch for a cute tab.
When you seal the bottom of your pocket to house your gift card make sure you only tape the corners or just put a wee bit of sticky strip along the very bottom... you have to allow room for your card to slide in the pocket!
I used the Jumbo wheel bold snowflakes to roll along the front and back using tone on tone in this case elegant eggplant. The old olive belly band holds it all together w/ the ornament punched out from the stamp set definitely decorative(In the xmas mini RIGHT now)! For the belly band I just took 1"X8 1/2" strip and fold it around and taped on the back side, you will have to snip a bit of your extra off... and then this slides on and off for easy opening! Enjoy!

Hannah's b-day

Wow, i don't know that i've ever been THIS MIA!!! Sorry about that.... had a bit of an interesting week behind me... thought i lost my camara... freaked out about that... then found it buried in MY office under paper (hint: NEED to clean). Then b-days, sickness in the house and yah... that's how it goes! So today I'm just showing you the treat baggies I made for the kidos @ the girl's b-day party. I know... I have girls, and they like dinos! So since their one guest was a 5 yr old boy.... thought he would appreciate that instead of princess items!

I used the medium cello bag along with the top note die for my baggie topper! Super slick and simple. The stamp is from the retired SAB set 'Yummy'.

Below you can see Ms. Hannah & Ms. Haley's cake. I had it made by Holly and oh my it was super dooper delish! Half chocolate w/ mint oreo filling and half vanilla with raspberry filling. The girls got the biggest kick out of it! When they woke up from their naps and seen it their eyes got real big and Haley looks @ me and says, "Wow! Mommy! Did YOU make that?" ;) I was honest and gave all credit to Holly!

Sour Cream pouch

Start w/ a square sheet, doesn't matter what size. Put sticky strip along one whole side and a bit on the bottom like you see pictured aboveAttach the 2 edges together keeping it roundPinch the one end w/ the sticky strip on it and use the crimper to seal that end goodThen pinch and crease the other end the opposite way of the bottom, but don't put any adheasive on that end and just crimp it
On the end w/0 adheasive i punched 2 holes and tied my very vanilla ribbon in a knot through the holes. Then w/ a bit of linen thread attached my birthday tag!

I put two mini snicker bars in here and left on the desk for a friend @ her work. Just a smidge of chocolate w/ some cute wrapping to brighten her day!

supplies: paper: choc chip dsp, very vanilla, choc chip
ink: pink passion, choc chip
stamp: on a pedastal
tools: crimper, ticket punch, crop a dile(for punching holes), stamp a ma jig (for getting the cake 'stacked' just right)
accessories: brad, dazzling diamonds, 2 way glue pen, crystal effects(for the cherry)
