Bliss

Starting out w/ a crumb cake base i ran it through the big shot and elegant line impression folder. Then used A to Z inked in crumb cake for my whisper white piece. then i stamped the design in marina mist right on top of the a to z and the butterfly in black on top of that! so i stamped lightest ink first and worked to the darkest! Then i used my 2 way glue pen and lined the outside of the butterfly and sprinkled the blue glitter around the edges. It's so much prettier in person.

For the sentiment did the layer stamping again. stamped the bird first in crumb cake and the words right over top in basic black. popped it up on dimensionals.

Used the xtra lrg decor punch and curly label punch layers under the one side and roughed them up w/ my fingernail by scratching the edges.
supplies:
paper: crumb cake, marina mist, whisper white
ink: basic black, marina mist, crumb cake
stamps: bliss, silhouette sentiments
tools: small oval punch, curly label punch, lrg decor punch, big shot, elegant line impression folder
accessories: stampin dimensionals, 2 way glue pen, blue glitter

i'm almost settled!

here's a peek @ my new space! i liking the bright and cheery green on the walls since i don't have a window in here.
i got the counter tops and white wall cabinets @ Menards
my fav kitchen rails from IKEA
and the shelf housing the stamp sets was made by my Grampa Vis! i took him a picture of pottery barns shelf and he duplicated it. Menards gutters house my ribbon and i'm thinking they might be slick for the wheels too?
so i got some fun stamping in this afternoon and just have to share one of the cards i got put together! every month as a demo we get a magazine called Stampin Success. I CASED this card right out of there! changed a few things but just loved the bright colors that screamed spring to me! oh i'm so ready for it...you too?

supplies:
paper: peach parfait, melon mambo, whisper white, melon mambo dsp
ink: basic black, melon mambo, peach parfait

Bear Hugs

this was the last project i stamped the other night. working on baby thank yous for two baby girls. I got this cute little bear new a little while back, so fun to ink some new rubber! i dug out my aqua painters to color her in and if you take close note check out the rattle. I but a blob of crystal effects on the top and bottom of the rattle. So if u were to touch it ...it's 3D and shiny! way cute. I used my Tea house background stamp again for some subtle glam and then inked flourish from Tiny Tags just once and stamped it three times, so w/ each stamp it got lighter.(third one is hiding behind baby bear)

supplies:
paper: daffodil delight, whisper white, soft suede, melon mambo
ink: stazon brown, soft suede, daff delight, melon mambo, blushing bride
stamps: tiny tags, tea house, bear hugs, a word for you
tools: scallop trim border
accessories: crystal effects, aqua painter

saying good BYE....

nothing like an adorable hand stamped card to brighten your day right? I got this treat in my mail box on Sunday! Thanks Tina! ;)

i guess i'm sharing the messy pictures below w/ you ... um... i'm not sure why, but i have a feeling of sadness to know that last night was the last night i will ever stamp in this room! I got some big projects finished up and now i start packing! I'm guessing it will be for sure a week b4 i can stamp again.. sniff, sniff. not a big deal, but i was thinking about it and this room is where i really became a stamper u might say. I became a demo in the house b4 this one, but then a pool table was where everything was and it just wasn't my own ya know? oh well, get on with it right? i will post pix of my new stamp area when i'm settled. ;) it's different than this one and i can't wait to make it homey and my own!

our rec area, where we held all our camps/classes and the boxes the girls helped me pack b4 bed!
Hope u r having a great day!
