Of the Earth

Back home again after almost a week in TX for a cousin of mine getting married down there. We decided to make it a vacation. spent a day on the river walk in San Antonio, a day @ Sea World and the girls got a big kick out of Shamu. Interesting how no one was in the tank w/ the killer whales after that gal was killed by one a few weeks back?
Made this b-day card for my Mom...she turns the BIG 50 this weekend! Hard to believe it!
today's card is put together w/ close to cocoa and cameo coral. couple layers and sponging gives it lot's of dimension.

stamps: sanded background, of the earth, well scripted(clear stamps)

Thank you kindly...

Simple and straight to the point.....
simple but using two different tools: Horizontal slot punch and corner rounder punch....see how much using that Big Shot along w/ the impression folder, adds to the card?? What a difference huh? ;)
Still simple but packs a bit more punch! Here just adding the scallop trim border punch and some delicious old olive striped ribbon.... this is my favorite one of the three and they take the same amount of time plus or minus a minute! ;) See how easy it is to make a cute card even cuter! bling is always the answer or in this case...it's ribobn.

supplies:
paper: regal rose, whisper white, welcome neighbor dsp, old olive
ink: regal rose
stamps: thank you kindly(earn this FREE through Sale a bration!)
tools: scallop trim border punch, big shot, polk a dot impression folder

Masculine Birthday

It makes for a very sharp ensamble when you give your envelope a little extra pizzaz. Here i just took a bit of matching choc chip dsp and adhered to the flap of the envelope! how sharp is that?

Using the fun Vintage Labels and Autumn Harvest, it's a quick put together!

tip:
can you see the double stamped leaves that look kinda like they have a shadow under them? This is super easy. just ink up your stamp good and stamp it once, turn the stamp a smidge and stamp again w/o reinking! I didn't use the stamp a ma jig here, bc i wanted them all to be a bit different from the next.

supplies:
paper: brocade blue, choc chip, very vanilla, craft, choc chip dsp
ink: choc chip, brocade blue
stamps: Vintage labels, autumn harvest
tools: square punches, crop a dile(for punches 2 holes the exact same depth) curly label punch
accessories: brads, stampin dimensionals

3X3 Diva Purse

This is what you should start with. 7 3/4" X 3 1/2" sheet of paper. Score @ 1/2", 3 5/8", 4 1/8" 7 1/4" and then 1/2" along the long side on the bottom. Punch one 1/2 circle out of one side using 13/8" circle punch.

Then you will use your paper snips and just snip where i did. This will allow you to fold the box up neatly.

It works best to embellish as you wish at this point. I chose to just do the front and get my holes punched for the handles of my purse. I used choc chip grosgrain ribbon and brads to adhear. For the pink scallop i first punched a hole w/ the 1 3/8" circle punch in melon mambo then took the scallop cirlce punch and went right over top of my last punch. Gives you a neat trim!
you are ready to put together. Lay the inside of the box to face you. then line only the two parts you see in red w/ your sticky strip. I practiced folding it all up b4 i tore the covering off so you know what has to go where! ;) I did the bottom one last. Gives a nice clean finish and everything else is tucked inside.

These are the cute little 3X3's i made to stick inside. All using the stamp set Birthday Bliss and the DSP from the SAB FREE set!Finish it off w/ a cute little tag from Vintage Labels and sponged the edges and popped up on dimensionals.

supplies:
paper: crushed curry, melon mambo, old olive, choc chip, whisper white, welcome nieghbor FREE SAB dsp!
ink:same as papers above
stamps: vintage labels, birthday bliss
tools: hole punch, wide oval punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, scallop circle punch,
accessories: brads, sticky strip, stampin dimensionals, ribbons, linen thread,
