page 2 MDS of girls

here will be the matching layouts for each of the girls that i shared 2 days ago. once again using pages that were already designed for me in my digital studio and just changing the photo boxes to suit my pictures. and of course adding a few more embellishments bc that's what i do!! ;) We can't leave buttons stranded on the page so we MUST attach it right?! i do so w/ the twine bows. i like how it finished off the flower....

teeny tiny wishes

i had to make a stack of sympathy cards for a friend and used several of my impression folders to change up the look just a bit. after running through the big shot, then i used the word window punch for my slot and then put the sentiment behind the hole(inside the card). used my paper snips to make a few flags out of different dsp's and the the itty bitty punch pack for my flowers. the mini brads worked perfect here!

same layout, different girls.... MDS

This is one fabulous thing about digital scrapbooking. Here i used an already designed page, changed the photo boxes a bit so i could add more pictures and then just made a duplicate page(or a copy) and then just switch up the pictures. So now Hannah and Haley each have a page focusing on them for their own books!

raining flowers

designed by: Shari Fedders
this is one of the last that we stamped together w/ side and downlines. I love what Shari did here and think it is a very fitting card for sympathy. She used a lot of different elements to bring it all together. After stamping the large blossom, we snipped it out by hand, put a large brown brad through it and popped up on dimensionals. tucked under the edges we put some little leaves from the sizzlits die. the stem is from the stamp set raining flowers.
for a bit more texture, we ran a layer through the big shot w/ the vintage wallpaper impression folder and then gently ran the sponge over top w/ choc chip to make the pattern really stand out!
supplies:
paper: crumb cake, very vanilla, choc chip
ink: choc chip
stamps: raining flowers, petite pairs
tools: big shot, little leaves sizzlits die, vintage wallpaper impression folder
accessories: sponges, choc chip satin ribbon, lrg choc chip brad, stampin dimensionals

fresh vintage SAB

i think i would call this monochromatic.... right? if you look closely can you see those score lines on the white rectangular piece. Score pal helped us make those pretty subtle lines and then we sponged some color right over top of them! kinda looks like a quilt of sorts. the pretty embossed oval is from the 2pk designer frame impression folders. so after we ran that piece of paper through the big shot, then we ripped off the excess paper around the edges. the wide oval punch fits our sentiment in the middle just perfectly!

supplies:
paper: not quite navy, whisper white, baja breeze
ink: not quite navy
stamps: bring on the cake, fresh vintage
tools: wide oval punch, 2 pk designer label impression folder, netting(new, background stamp), score pal
accessories: sponges

i recently took on a new task as facilitator in our church. what's that?? jus means i along w/ another gal and two men from the consistory, we work together as a team to make sure people are cared for and hopefully not lost among the crowds of people.
Among the group that we are serving, we had a young couple, that had a little boy w/ RSV turned to pneumonia...scary to say the least. after a long hospital stay, and many answered prayers, they were all able to come back home again. the card above was for the lil man....

Hannah's frogs

When i went to convention last summer is seen something like this so we did our best to make a frog and we're very pleased w/ how she came together!  Hannah took charge @ the punch and punched out 120 large ovals and 60 circles for the eyes and 20 little red hearts. I assembled the first one so she could copy it and she took it from there! We didn't have enough google eyes for every froggy, but i thought just use what we have! After putting them all together, she stuffed a ring pop in the frogs belly!

ps. if you make these, make sure to sign the name before they are made to stand up....kinda hard to write when they are assembled.... *wink*
supplies:
paper: certainly celery, always artichoke, whisper white, basic black cardstock
tools: heart to heart punch, circle punches, wide oval punch

Haley's Valentines

 pretty little tootsie pop holder

she decided to make the sucker holder...k lets b honest, mom 'gently' urged her to do so....
she did AWESOME!  She punched out all the hearts, stamped all the scallop circles and glued them all together, i did the cutting, measuring and scoring for her and then she would fold it, stick a  tootsie sucker in and hand to me... then i would staple shut. one staple on each side of the stick holds it in snug! then we tied some ribbon around the stick and even some candy cane fabric on a few!

supplies:
paper: melon mambo, real red and matching dsp's
ink: real red, melon mambo
stamps: teeny tiny wishes, happiest birthday wishes(hostess set)
tools: scallop circle punch, heart to heart punch, score pal
accessories: whisper white grosgrain ribbon, real red striped ribbon, candy cane fabric
