Elegant Line impression folder

Designed by Jess, this CAS(clean & simple) card shouted elegance! the flower is just so pretty and all we did was punch one xlrg fancy flower punch, 2 scallop circles and crumpled the 'you know what' out of them. Then stuck them altogether w/ a brad and added the pretty little pearl right on top! After it's down on the card then i crumpled more to my liking. I guess the rest is self explanatory.

tip: if you look closely you can see some fuzziness? if you crumple enough your card stock will actually become two sheets and you can pull them apart and then inside is all fuzzy looking! ;)

supplies:
paper: early espresso, whisper white, pear pizzaz
ink: early espresso
stamps: teeny tiny wishes
tools: xlrg fancy flower punch, modern label, word window, scallop circle, big shot, elegant lines impression folder
accessories: pearls, subtle brad, choc chip satin ribbon, stampin dimensionals

Love You Much

hey all! boy have i failed miserably @ my New Years Resolution to be consistent w/ my blogging and sharing w/ you all! yikes! Baby #3 and life snuck up on me and invaded my daily rituals;) ... ok enough complaining bc i wouldn't change a thing... any who, got together yesterday am w/ 2 other demos and we shared ideas and stamped together. Needless to say i was up till 12 on Thurs night stamping bc of course i don't plan ahead and i'm a pro at procrastinating! hehe  after being rather dormant i really felt like i found my mojo! yipee! Lovin' the birds and i think this shall be my hubby's valentines day card! It's right around the corner!

oh and get this, another reason yesterday was fabulous... i got SEVENTEEN 12X12 layouts printed out from My Digital Studio and they arrived from Stampin Up!....oooo eeee!!! Can you hear me squealing...super pleased w/ the quality, price, and how easy this program is to work with! fabuloso. I got them all slipped into my current 'traditional' books and they look great! (i was worried about mixing the traditional and digital...what a waste of worry... i love em')

doesn't that glass chunky glitter rule? Its so sparkly in real life. I just took my Tombo adhesive and squeezed a nice little line of it and then sprinkle on the glitter. don't be stingy...on the glue that is..otherwise the chunks won't stick.

like how the fabric is a home made ribbon? matched perfect w/ the Love Letters dsp.

supplies:
paper: crumb cake, cherry cobbler, love letters dsp
ink: basic black
stamps: love you much, define your life
tools: xtra lrg decor lbl pnch, spiral punch
accessories: broken glass glitter, tombo adhesive, sponge, deck the halls fabric

Room Makover

Over a year ago our bible study donated a "one room makeover" on our Christian Ed Auction. I donated my time and then other couples gave the funds to put towards paint, decor, bedding ect. It was lots of fun but for future reference when painting w/ the tint 'magenta' in your base you HAVE to prime!!! I was going over light colors but had to paint that pink five times! eeek! Any who, live n learn;) this is a peek when walking into the room
next to the closet door we are using a rub on from Stampin Up! and the polka dot scallop border is also a stencil from SU!
below you can see Erin's name ...also done in the Choc Chip Rub ons from SU!

love you much

looking ahead and not to far away it will be valentines day! Can you believe it! Start today and you can easily make some home made treats that are super cute! I used the 2 tags die and the big shot to cut out the super cute tag. it's actually mounted on top of chipboard that i cut out first to give it some dimension. the chunky glitter is the glass glitter that i adhered w/ liquid glue. the bunch of ribbons was from my pile of little scraps and i just tied them together and used a mini glue dot to hold it in place. (they are the BEST for this)
supplies:
paper: basic gray, baja breeze, naturals ivory, real red dsp
ink: real red, basic gray
stamps: love you much
tools: two tags die, big shot, scallop circle, circle punch
accessories: corduroy real red button, linen thread, vintage lace, real red polka dot ribbon, very vanilla ribbon, broken glass glitter, glue, stampin dimensionals

Fifth Avenue

so i feel like I've been absent for way to long and i really do have a good excuse. my camera broke AGAIN....OK well my hubby broke it this time. i didn't realize how much i like that baby and the quality it actually has! so needless to say it was shipped off on New Years Eve and i will probably be w/o for a month i suppose.... very sad. so I'm borrowing an older one and it will have to do till mine is fixed! so bear w/ me if i don't have any  pix w/ clarity to share the minute details!

i have been busy stamping tho, so i do have quite a bit to share! very excited. been slowly cleaning house in my craft room and getting prepared for the big move in a few months. getting pretty excited about that! got my walls painted and now on the hunt for counter tops and perhaps a cupboard or two! so during my purge i came across these nifty little tags that i bought a long time ago and thought i better try them out! i likes

like the bunched ribbon? very easy to do. on one end split the ribbon in half w/ your finger tips and then find ONE tiny little thread and begin pulling. they are unbelievably strong so you can really pull! I've yet to break one. the more you pull, the more it gathers ect.

supplies:
paper: basic gray, baja breeze, urban oasis dsp, whisper white
ink: basic gray, baja breeze, versamark
stamps: tiny tags, fifth ave
tools: crop a dile, 2 1/4" circle punch, jewelry punch, spiral punch
accessories: pearls, hemp twine, basic gray taffeta ribbon

stay tuned for more fun stuff!
