Peaceful Season

a bit of embossing w/ gold makes this card dazzle! This is a level 2 hostess set out of the Christmas mini catalog right now. Very elegant. a strip of sticky strip hold my ruffled ribbon and bunched up strip of eyelet border punched paper. the button is from the neutrals group.
the distressing along the edges was done w/ my finger nail once again. Just scratch it! I also stamped the leaf/berry in versamark on the cherry cobbler piece. It's a more subtle look than tone on tone ink like if you would have used the cherry cobbler.

supplies:
paper: crumb cake, cherry cobbler, very vanilla
ink: cherry cobbler, versamark
stamps: very vintage JUMBO wheel, peaceful season(hostess level 2 Xmas mini)
tools: eyelet border punch, heat gun
accessories: gold embossing powder, mini glue dot, linen thread, crumb cake button, sticky strip, very vanilla ribbon(cut in half down the center so it wasn't to thick)

paper: baja breeze, pretty in pink, whisper white
ink: baja breeze, pretty in pink stampin write markers
stamps: birthday bliss, retro remix standard wheel
tools: square punch, scallop square punch
accessories: library clips, fine cosmo glitter, stampin dimensional
Ms. Hannah is five. I can't believe it...for some reason that number seems so big to me. i have a 5 yr old. i have to say that out loud to believe it i guess! ;)

we had a birthday party w/ our play group to celebrate the special day and i wanted to make a little something she could give to her friends that they could take home! once again this mini milk carton has come in super handy! I could fit a bag of fruit snacks in there just right! Bravo!

The glitter got a bit messy and was kinda everywhere, but they just needed that lil somthin' extra ... and this was the ticket! I left the top open and just the library clip held it together. works slick

woodgrain & animal stories

get out of your box lately? I sure did here! what an odd color combination.... but i really do like it and in my opinion...it looks oh so much better in person! This is what you call grabbing my base(elegant eggplant) and then just laying scraps next to it and deciding what looks good. Then you design! It's very bright and cheery i thought!
i popped my 'wood' piece up on dimensionals so it looks like Mr. owl is actually in the tree;) easy distressing of the wood was just done by scratching my finger nail along the edge. More vigorously in some spots than others.
i forgot to take a picture until i had it sealed in the fun clear envelope to give to a dear friend. hence the not so clear pictures. I love this option for when you hand deliver a card that is so cute! you can buy them from SU! right by all the other envelopes!

supplies:
paper: elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie dsp, old olive dsp, crumb cake, very vanilla
ink: elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie
stamps; wood grain, animal stories
tools: 1 1/4" circle punch, scallop circle punch, 3/4 circle punch, big shot, alpha strip die
accessories: very vanilla grosgrain ribbon, regal flower button, linen thread
