memory jar

This is a memory jar. I'd never heard of it before this, but think it's a fabulous idea. a friend called and asked if i could make this for her. She lost her Dad last year and they wanted to fill the jar w/ memories and give it to their Mom for Christmas. with that in mind i wanted to make it very special, little details to make it pretty...
the spice  cake dsp worked well i thought for some nice earth tones that can hopefully be displayed in her home w/o sticking out like a sore thumb. i used lots of sticky strip and mini glue dots to make sure it was stuck together well
supplies:
paper: spice cake dsp, more mustard, old olive, cherry cobbler, pool party, very vanilla
ink: early espresso
stamps: define your life, family reunion
tools: lrg decor pnch, scallop circle, boho blossom pnchs, big shot, top note die, stripes impression folder, scallop edge border punch
accessories: brads, very vanilla satin ribbon, mini glue dots, champagne glass stamping glitter, striped old olive ribbon
