animal crackers & little angel

as you can see i'm kinda on a bab boy kick here. i was looking through my 'prestamped' stash and realized i had NO baby boy on hand! So playing around w/ my fav set again!

supplies:
paper: soft suede, whisper white, tango tangerine dsp(from SAB free paper pack!)
ink: soft suede ink pad, only orange stampin write marker
stamps: animal crackers, little angel (clear mount from Occasions Mini)
tools:crop a dile(to punch those 3 holes all the same depth) oval punches
accessories: polka dot soft suede ribbon, stampin dimensionals, brads

My 'new' project

ok so our girls share a room... which is fantastic... but they 'touch' each other in bed which always ends in bickering, who's on who's half of the bed and you know it... just fighting and keeping each other awake. So here is our project to try and remedie that! Jesse got to work last Sat and built this in one day for me! ;) what a dh huh? Now i just have to prime and paint it... this is how far i am... one coat of primer on ... now need to sand!

Finding new bedding is a night mare! I want shabby chic, but can't find anything i like in my budget!!! Any idea's where to shop? ;) I'm a fan of one color in the spread, proly chocolate and then i'll either make some fun pillows or find them later. We'll see.

Any suggestions would great be appreciated! ;)

Animal Crackers

Having a little fun w/ this set again! I REALLY like it! I can be used to brighten some ones day or turned into super cute baby cards, big kids too! Versitality... that's what we all need right? Using punches this was a super quick put together. I stamped my little squirrel in soft suede and then water colored him w/ my aqua painter and soft suede. Using my stampin write makers i colored in the little acorn so i could be precise. 'sweet pea' is my first 'go' @ using the clear mount stamps from SU!. I would say the quality is all there that we have grown to love w/ SU!'s rubber stamps so it is a win, win situation. quality + fantastic storage = happy melissa!

Birthday card for my Aunt who turned 50 on Monday!!!

Now that i have all these pix to look at i realize how i should have coordinated it all better, using the same border punch on the card as the tag on the cookies, and i had my tag and card made b4 i bought the platter for the cookies or that surely should have matched and it would have looked WAAAAY better! ;) hind sight is 20/20 right! oh well most importantly the cookies tasted good! ;)

Clear Stamp Mounting Steps 101...

Peel off layer in halves starting from the center score line by slipping your finger nail under one half
it will then look like this
after both are off you will be left w/ your image that will be adhered to your rubber stamp
pop out your rubber die cut stamp
peel the white layer off the back of the rubber stamp
then line your rubber piece right over top of the image, (making sure all the edges line up nice) left on the original sheet
and press down firmly w/ your finger tips
Then peel back the image along w/ your rubber stamp and you now will be able to see the image underneath when using the clear mount blocks, now found in the Occasions mini!

simple Valentine!

this super quick card is put together in a snap w/ the handy 3 heart punch and a little designer series paper! Punch one time and get 3 dif size hearts all @ once!

I'm having so much fun playing w/ this set! They are great stamps to brighten some ones day! This one is super simple using only one color ink and then those dazzling diamonds totally finish it off!

Reach for the stars

well, welcome back to me after the business of the holidays is now over(well almost) we still have one more Christmas to do that was postponed due to the blizzard! But then ,yes, we can go on w/ normal winter life! I FINALLY got down to do some stamping here... my 'to do' list was growing VERY long and this is one of the baby boy cards that i made for a couple in our church. Used a smidge of that retired baja breeze paper... isn't it so delish... didn't realize i liked it that much till i pulled it out again and it's so nice and soft for a baby boy!
