Circle Circus

another fun color combo from Leah! enjoy!

tart n tangy

a card of 'scraps'.... so i really wanted to play with this stamp set as i havn't i quite some time. however was not really feeling the stampin vibe persay. so i just sat down, grabbed some scraps on my table that i liked the combo of and this is what i came up with! I really like how it turned out and came together!
like that gathered ribbon? all u do is 'rough' up one end of the ribbon and pull one thread from the center of it and keep pulling and gathering to look like above!

then i stamped 4 lemons and punched them out w/ my circle punch adding dazzling diamonds to the one and popping it up on a dimensional. Textured tangerine tango gives me my pop of color here and i think the daffodil delight leaves just tie it all together.

supplies:
paper: marina mist, tangerine tango, daffodil delight, whisper white, daffodil delight
ink: daffodil delight, marina mist
stamps: tart n tangy,
tools: circle punch, big shot, top note die, leaf sizzlit
accessories: 2 way glue pen, dazzling diamonds, very vanilla satin ribbon, stampin dimensional

inspired by nature

by: Leah Baas
Hello all! what a treat to feel a bit of fall in the air huh? I LOVE fall! we had our bible study kick off last night and it was fun....a bit on the crazy side w/ all our children here, but oh well, they had a ball! this card makes me think of saying goodbye to our summer months. I love having the color blue in my flower garden but that's hard to acheive! Not to many options for flowers to pick from!
This card was designed and made by leah again...nice work girl!

Absolutely Fabulous

i just love the words of this set...they are retired but they still come in handy all the time! After last week we found out of a friend that is expecting so i wanted to make something special for her! I used the NEW smooch spritz here...gives a similar look to the color spirtzer tool w/o using the stampin write markers. However if you see this up close is has a smidge of sparkle to it! Very dazzling!

those new little rhinestones add just the perfect amount of bling as well. tip: using your paper piercer or an exacto knife works slick for picking them off the sheet and sticking them to your papercraft w/o getting them stuck to your fingers...

want to 'gather' your ribbon? super easy, here i just used my mini glue dots and did a messy layer look...

supplies:
paper:choc chip, whisper white, melon mambo, blushing bride
ink: choc chip
stamps: absolutely fabulous(retired)
tools: punches, fancy flower extra-large(2X and then i crumpled it up a bit), 1"circle, itty bitty shape punch pack
accessories: old olive satin ribbon, mini glue dots, log cabin smooch spritz, rhinestone

Trendy Trees

Think "masculine" and trees, wood grain ect come to mind for me. So with that inspiration i created this card for a dear friend of my hubby's who is going through a rough time. The little snippit of dsp is actually from a simply scrappin kit that is now retired from the last caty. Super nice for the manly touch.

ps. notice the 'stacked' look using SU's fabulous punches for my sentiment! I just love it and it goes together in a snap. I'm starting to do this more and more it seems! less cutting makes a happier me ;)

supplies:
paper: old olive, whisper white, not quite navy
ink: choc chip, old olive
stamps: trendy trees, wood grain
tools: curly label punch, modern label punch
accessories: star brad, hemp twine, stampin dimensionals, sponge
