inspired by nature

Isn't this a pretty combo? Cherry cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso. All 3 new colors! This is a simple and quick card to put together since it only uses two ink colors. That adorable ribbon is the new 1/8" daffodil delight taffeta ribbon w/ a smidge of white along the edges! Love it!

On the inside of the card and on the envelope i used the cherry cobler stampin write marker to color ONLY one of the flowers on the large stamp.

supplies:

paper: cherry cobbler, early espresso, daffodil delight, whisper white

ink: cherry cobler, early espresso

stamps: inspired by nature, Occasional Quoates(level 3 hostess out of new caty)

tools:scallop edge border punch

accessories: daffodil delight 1/8" taffeta ribbon

Water Color Trio

another mass produce that i stamped up. Sympathy for this round. A card w/ NO layers goes together in a snap! This is the new fun color Pear Pizzaz! I love how soft it is. I inked my leafy stamp once in choc chip and then stamped it 3 times on the front of my card so it got lighter w/ each touch. The butterfly was stamped 2 times w/ versamark so it's just a nice subtle look as well and then stem on the inside of the card is done in versamark too.
Many times when i send out sympathy cards, but i perhaps don't know the person super well, it's hard to know what to write to them. So the stamp set thoughts & prayers always lends a wonderful helping hand. I love this sentiment and think it says it all.
A touch of the very vanilla satin ribbon tied around the top finishes it off and then two quick stamps on the envelope as well so it all matches!
supplies:
paper: pear pizzaz
ink: versamark, choc chip, pear pizzaz
stamps: water color trio, thought's & prayers

Embossing and Linen technique

i think this is card #5 i'm sharing w/ you from camp designed by Jess. Using the white gloss paper here we sponged on rich razzleberry ink as dark as you like and then slide a sanding block across it all one direction ...then ink it up again w/ the sponge and drag the sanding block the opposite direction. For the butterfly we first inked the stamp in versamark, then so saffron and poured
sparkling embossing powder on and heat w/ a heat gun to melt it. then punch out w/ the butterfly punch. Using the stamp a ma jig makes it easy to line up all those thank yous across the top of the card. for the stitching we used the rich razzleberry stampin write marker to dot it and make it look like we really did some sewing!
supplies:
paper: so saffron, white gloss, crumb cake(formerly kraft)
ink: rich razzleberry, versamark, so saffron
stamps: flight of the butterfly, teeny tiny wishes
tools: butterfly punch, heat gun
accessories: sanding blocks
