Reach for the stars

well, welcome back to me after the business of the holidays is now over(well almost) we still have one more Christmas to do that was postponed due to the blizzard! But then ,yes, we can go on w/ normal winter life! I FINALLY got down to do some stamping here... my 'to do' list was growing VERY long and this is one of the baby boy cards that i made for a couple in our church. Used a smidge of that retired baja breeze paper... isn't it so delish... didn't realize i liked it that much till i pulled it out again and it's so nice and soft for a baby boy! Using some of my new toys that you will see listed below... star brad, animal crackers ect....

Fall b-day

Happy Tuesday to you all! So another sister of mine had a birthday right b4 Thanksgiving and this is the card i made for her.

And the snow has started! ;) Well, i got me some good movies and projects lined up while this blizzard blows through! I made this card for my sister's b-day and thought it turned out cute so wanted to share with you!

Festive Medallion

Happy Tuesday to you all! Simple and pretty i thought this was festive enough to be called a 'holiday' card! Adding that pearl in the center just tops it all off! Don't forget to stamp your envelope to make it a cute ensemble!

So when a little boy comes to your birthday party w/ all the little girls, we couldn't give him a 'girly' bear thank you now could we?! So my cousin gave me this card a while ago and i just added the sentiment and put Thank you on it!

thought these colors turned out real nice together... rich razzleberry and black w/ a touch of very vanilla.

Simple Thank you

Using a touch of dsp really takes a card front a long ways i think! This cute little stem is from the set Of the Earth (level 1 hostess). Using my stampin write markers i colored it the two dif colors to match my card! The little 'tear' drop looking things i found @ the scrap store in RV. I've seen them used quite a bit online and wanted to give them a try myself! I likes!

so if you have been wondering why all the sympathy cards... well i organized my stuff of already stamped cards (for the first time ever...) into all the different categories and yes, the "Thinking of you/Sympathy" category had no cards in it... therefore, i set myself the task of producing a bunch for that slot!

Sketch Inspired...

I had a cousin get married last week in MI and although we were unable to attend, i still wanted to send them a special card in their colors(kind of) to let them know we were thinking of them! I followed this sketch to get me going...But then as you can see i just flipped it on it's side to better suite the stamp set i was working with!
