Delcate Doilies Sizzlits L

This doilie is super pretty! Thanks Dana! a quick roll through the big shot and you have this beauty! On this card i used two NEW pieces out of the big new caty. both being big shot items. the Delicate doilies sizzlitz and the Apothecary Accents Framelits. (that's how i cut the summer starfruit piece) Then look close...can you see that pretty piercing around the edges?? That's ANOTHER new item in the caty p.181 for only $7.95 they enlarged the pieces and added 2 additional piercing mattes! I love that you can go around circles now, numerous of the punches, several fancy edges and some big shot pieces too! way fun! after stamping my butterfly, i punched her out w/ the NEW elegant butterfly punch. sponged around the edges in early espresso to give a smidge of dimension and don't forget those pretty pearls!

Papillon Potpourri

 I finally got some time to sit down and stamp a while on Sat! yeah! was otto my 'groove' if you will for a while it felt! Sometimes i get that way and just need to take a break. Then i try again when i get a few new toys....and usually the ideas come back or i just CASE! ;) Loving these new in colors. they are so vibrant when all paired together especially! My new butterflies got my mojo going again. aren't they SUPER pretty? i love this set!

love on another MDS

 sweet and to the point. it seems oh so long ago that we went out to Sandy Hollow to take pictures. I let the girls run and just followed them around taking random shots.  Man they are so little! ;) So i created this layout of Ms. Haley and then copied both pages w/ the click of a button and changed all the pictures to ones of Ms. Hannah! That's called super fast scrapping and one of the MANY things i love about digital!! ;) I'll share Hannah belle's layout tom!

super easy layout using a free digital download from somewhere...i think digital design house studio?? but any who, not much to it, pix, few embellishments, title and pretty paper and we are done! the clownin is made w/ su! punches and i filled them w/ color to match my paper;)

friendly phrases

granted this is a terrible picture... i thought the card in real life was cute! I used a snippet of the NEW floral district fabric to make a cute little flag banner. i just snipped out 3 triangles and then used multipurpose liquid glue to attach them to the linen thread that was tied in a knot to each corner. the pennant is a strip of tangerine tango cardstock and then i punched out a lace ribbon border in the same color and laid right on top. i don't think u can even see that in this picture, but it made it stand out!

Chase's birthday invite MDS

Hi all! it's been a while since i shared some MDS w/ you! My baby turns two very soon! hard to believe! It was so super simple. This was a template already designed by SU! and i just changed the text to suit my needs and tweeked the front just a smidge. It will be printed in postcard format front and back.....

 and i felt the envelopes were a bit boring so i finished them off with a little cupcake! and on top for a bit of shine, some crystal effects...

 another great example of how quickly cards can come together when you use some pretty dsp. Pockets full of posies had some very bold paper in the pack and here i let that speak for itself. one layer of bold paper and then some punches and a simple sentiment on top!

simplicity

sometimes it's nice to keep things simple. here i chose to do that. this dsp takes the card so far, you really don't have to do anything else, right? i think this would be the perfect manly card. good colors. clean lines. using the punches to punch out my sentiment adds the perfect amount of dimension w/ some stampin dimensionals, so it's not totally flat....

HAPPY July 4th!!!

 In the beginning of May my little sis moved from WI down to Oklahoma where her hubby had gotten a new job. so away they went w/ their two little kidos! I wanted to send them a little note of encouragement as i can only imagine the big adjustment of moving to such a large city compared to growing up in a small community! So far, i know my sis LOVES the shopping, that's (her) hobby, i craft, she shops! ;)

I made the little house out of some dsp, just drew it free hand on the back and snipped out w/ a paper snips. a little scrap gave me the chimney.

something different to share. Vibella jewlery has begun to make t-shirt scarves and wanted to embellish them a bit. My cous Dana is on the board and knew of the Big Shot's potential in making super cute fabric flowers right?! So Dana got me some fabric and i put together the flowers to show them how cute it would be to add these to the right t-shirt scarves! playing around with the Ronald McDonald stamp set "Moving Forward" of this year! It's way cute;)

instead of ribbon here i used some scrunched up summer starfruit paper and sticky strip to make the ruffle. made a cute little tag w/ punches to put my stamped sentiment on and tie a few strands of  bakers twine into a bow.(love that stuff!!) could easily mail this one as it's not bulky but still super cute!
