On a pedastal

So my cousin Dana and i played around stamping one night and this is what she came up w/ when playing around w/ the adorable stamp set On a pedastal! This set has endless possiblities for super cute birthday or even just general cards! Good job Dana!

supplies:

tools: stamp a ma jig( for getting that cake stacked just right!), hole punch
accessories: crushed curry polka dot ribbon, brad, crystal effects(for the CHERRY to make it shiny and 'tasty' looking!)

lil' thank you gifts...




just a lil something for the gals who watched our girlies. I wanted to make them cute and the big shot and top note die make that Super easy! The little baggies matched the thank you cards in color combos. I used the medium cello baggies to put the jewlery in.

Medallion

i was going after a vintage distressed look here and really like how it turned out. torn edges, sponged edges and using the color spritzer tool all assisted me in achieving this look.

golden girl


so on my flight to Cancun I finally took the time to try and figure this digital scrapping out! Wow! i guess there was no need to be scared to try it! ;) I got this layout done on one of my flights and am getting more familiar w/ the program the more i play with it! Dad's Birthday


so my Dad turns 55 this coming Friday. Hard to believe that! He still seems so young to me and i don't like to think about my parents aging.... as that means i am as well! I admire him for the Father he is and was to me growing up and will always cherish the 'kid' in him that he allowed us to see.

on the flower above you can see i did a bit of 'masking' to get those leaves nicely tucked under the flower! gives a very polished look.
Then snipped out w/ my paper snips and popped up on a dimensional.

Vintage Vogue



This is another treat we got to make while stampin w/ shari! I guess i would call this a mini folder that will hold about 4 cards w/ envelopes. I made one of these a long time ago that i did in pastels i think? Not sure. Tom i will show you what the inside looks like and give you the dimnensions.

V-day treat baggie #1


Eeek do i miss my cam or what?! this is such poor photography .... yikes!!!...so i'm using a medium cello bag here and then just a 4 1/4" X4" piece of paper folded in half for my baggie topper. I hand cut the pretty heart but the rest is done w/ punches. Made some 'home made' dsp using the 3 heart stamp from i (heart) hearts.

Top Note pocket




so when the big shot does all the work for you how easy is THAT?! Using the top not die, we cut two pieces out in the real red(adhered them using sticky strip) and again once more w/ the gorgeous Sending Love Specialty paper out of the Occasions Mini. Then i just trimmed along the edge of the dsp so it's matted on the real red. the pink ribbon we used is the new 5/8" satin ribbon we used out of the O.M as well and my upline called it 'yummy'.... i thought that fit perfectly!

Valentine treats






got to play around stamping w/ two other demos today and we focused on Valentine treats.... so fun!!! This was Shari's idea... nice work! ;)


so you'll have to forgive the pix that i share for the next little while. My good camara is on the blink. Had to send away to be repaired and so trying to use the camara option on my video cam that has NO FLASH and very poor MP's!! ;)

Playing around w/ a fun layouts (got my inspiration from here) She did such a great job w/ this layout and i had to give it a try! I didn't have that apricot appeal paper on hand so i changed that to pretty in pink and the regal rose to melon mambo.
